I'm a first-time photogropher, so advice would be great!

As part of a project for art a little while ago, I had to take 24 pictures of something that either told a story or had to do with a theme. I chose guitars as my theme, and called up my two friends. I thought that the pictures would only take about 20 minutes to do, next thing I know they've been there for 2 and a half hours and we finally got all 24. This is one of my favorite ones.

Funny enough, it was actually very cloudy and started raining later that day. Yet, for some reason, this picture came out really bright. I actually thought that it came out REALLY nice, though, so I decided to put it up.

Crazy thing is, I didn't edit this at all. There are places that could use a quick touch-up--some of the hair is a bit frizzy, and a blur here or there wouldn't hurt--but the fact that I didn't edit this at all is still what gets me. I used my stepdad's camera, and man, I had no idea how cool it was.

Both of these girls know how to play guitar, and that black guitar is actually mine. This was taken outside my house, and I wasn't in any one of the pictures because I was taking all of them (and I'm not in the reflection, so don't bother looking).

I didn't control what the girls wore, so it was a bit of a surprise when they arrived. Unfortunetly, sometimes the lighting on the skin of the dark-haired girl came out with a pink lighting, blending with her jacket, which didn't look too nice.

Either way, for me being a first time photogropher, this came out pretty nice. My friends had no idea I'd be so artistic with this; we circled around the block trying different poses, lighting, angles, even a costume change towards the end. We started working with these pictures on Photoshop today in art, and unfortunetly my teacher won't let me do ANYTHING I wanted to do with the editing, so all I did today was a blur-tool-touch-up. And that's about it.

I don't think I'll edit this, because I don't see what there is to do. If you spot anything, let me know, and also let me know if you would like to see more.

Thanks to my friends for standing me even in overtime, my stepdad for giving me the camera and burning these pictures onto a CD, and ~points-and-laughs for being too good and making me feel jealous.

Obviously, these pictures are mine, along with that guitar. And I don't own my friends.

Enjoy!

By the way, I have been doing stuff, just not here. Check out my FanFiction.net account for some stories I've been working on.

oh hello!

in my opinion, unedited, this looks a bit surreal. if you feel like editing this at all, i'd make it more extreme instead of more normal looking.

just fooling around for like, 2 seconds in photoshop would do it.

the expressions, too, are the only thing that really bothers me with this.

zomgg you're photographing!
