I know I'm going to feel weird naming the picture that, but anyway...
FULL VIEW FOR THE NOT CRAPY-NESS!!!

So I told you guys that I was going to draw some Twilight Princess fan art. I was actually trying to draw a twisted version of Zelda (it's a concept I came up with) but unfortunetly I had an extreme amount of trouble drawing it. But then I remebered that I was telling some friends about how I was going to draw a moveset for Midna for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so I drew this to be the model.

I wanted to submit this serperatly because I felt that people might only fave the moveset because they like this piece. So that's why I made it to this image.

Now personally, I feel that there are so many flaws in here, and that the sketch looked a lot better. But I suppose it doesn't look so bad; this is my first time drawing Midna (for real, not counting the desktop) so I guess it's not so bad.

I know for a fact that her markings are wrong. I AM VERY SORRY ABOUT THAT! You don't know how long it took trying to find a stupid reference, all ending in failure. Eventually I just copied the marking from fan art, since I couldn't find any offical art.

I'm very iffy about Midna's face here, this is my first time drawing a mouth like that, which is why it may look weird. I really don't like her face, I can't tell what but something about it bothers me. The Fused Shadow (her helmet) took me a while, you can just tell by the amount of detail it has. It wasn't so bad drawing it, however I did make it uneven which I am very sorry about, and I didn't make it tall enough. I keep having that problem where the top section isn't tall enough, so eventually I had to add extension to it by drawing guide lines over the sketch on Photoshop. Midna has pretty large hips as an imp, so I had to also fix the sketch via Photoshop on that.

The Fused Shadow is pretty messed up; I couldn't add the designs next to the stone eye because that would make the helmet way too large. I have to say though, the stone eye seriously looks awesome, except for the sides--something happened when I was adding the texture and it made the edges all screwed up. That happened with the entire Fused Shadow, actually. Once I added the texture (Filter effect called "Craquelure") the edges became either white or black and very jagged, I wound up fixing it by smudging the sides inward and blurring it.

Her hair keeps bothering me, don't know why. I wanted to give her a twilight tint but at the time I had already giving her the blue tint she has in the light world. I figured that since Smash Bros. is in the light world, I should keep her tint light world like, since I'll be doing a copy-and-paste to the moveset once I create it. Unless Nintendo decides to be cool and adds a twilight battle stage, I would love them forever.

The background's supposed to be the sky of the Twilight Realm, I had no good ref and basically had to guess. Kind of funny considering how I just beat that level for the fifth time last night. The square was done by adding one of the super-cool-metal-effects I found while drawing Espio two devations ago.

So I'm really iffy about this still. It's not so bad, but the face REALLY bothers me. I guess it's just 'cause I like the sketch better.

This took about...four or five hours? Maybe more? I spent almost two hours last night working on this without realizing, didn't even keep track of the time. Today I woke up at twelve and had been working on it since then, minus a lunch break of fifteen or so minutes. All together that was pretty long. I had to redo the eye because my original one really bothered me and I wound up erasing the edges to make it smaller.

Critiques are welcome on this, just don't point out the thing I've already mentioned. It's garunteed that I've noticed most of the flaws by now, but if you'd like to help, that's fine.
...I actualyl think the thumbnail looks better, but oh well.

There's a total of twenty three layers, the Fused Shadow originally being seven on it's own, but I merged it to six. I added a watermark just to be safe, I doubt people would steal this, but whatever.

Inspired by this picture. Her Featured Devation (now it changed, but it was this picture) also inspired my desktop, take a look at her art, seriously. You're garunteed to find something you like, and I'm not talking just Zelda.

PLEASE COMMENT BEFORE FAVING! PLEASE COMMENT BEFORE FAVING! PLEASE COMMENT BEFORE FAVING! PLEASE COMMENT BEFORE FAVING! PLEASE COMMENT BEFORE FAVING!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is copyrighted to Nintendo. This piece of art is copyrighted to me.

I suppose since Brawl is for the Wii Midna's Fused Shadow should be reversed, but then again the Wii version was only mirrored because it would make right-hander players have an easier time, and her offical art work is styled the GameCube way, which is the one I have.

Alright, I'll give you guys a break from reading. Enjoy.

EDIT: I know her legs are off-balanced, sorry about that. Also, just to avoid confusion, Midna is supposed to be un-proportionable.
