Sonic Oekaki

I'm not going to put the, "Comment Before Faving", on this one, considering how this is not that great.

So, UVUE Chapter Seven is done, I acutally just finished it a few minutes ago. The thing is that I didn't want to post two chapters in a row, and I drew this Oekaki at Kayona-Kim's not too long ago (you can see the date of it on the picture) and I decided I might as well submit this.

So some of you might remember my Shadow Oekaki from August, and I told myself for a while now that I should try one for Sonic. I used the same strategy as I did with Shadow to add the fur detail, which was making the blue color on one layer with the pen tool and then sketching out different shades of the blues on the same layer with the base color blue and then blurred it. Although, this time, I used an airbrush at the last moment because it looked pretty bad and the airbrush hid the crappy coloring job and made it look more furry.

The thing that bothers me most is his arm, and that's about it. It's just going off a bit too much for me. For his skin I used the dodge and burns, and unfortunetly you can't change the styles on Oekakis so I had to deal with it.

I once again gave his eyes a tint. I actually always do that, it was just more noticable on Shadow and here because I made the tint pretty strong.

Sonic is in the same pose as Shadow for a little "effect". I'm not used to drawing Sonic, so please excuse me. Overall, this didn't come out so bad. Could be better, but I'm used to the way I do things on Photoshop.

Unlike Shadow, Sonic has a black background because I used backgroungs as a way to find errors in coloring, and I decided to leave it on since it provided a good contrast with the blue of his quills.

So, yeah, tell me what you think. Sorry, I'm not so good with Oekakis.

PS-Was I the only Sonic fan who complained about Sonic in Brawl? Seems like everyone else had an "OHMAGAH" moment.
